Water Heater Replacement Rebate

Butte Electric will offer a one-time incentive of $300.00 to our members when they replace an existing water heater with an electric water heater controlled by a Demand Response Unit (DRU). DRU’s are installed by a Butte Electric staff member and after installation, the DRU will be controlled by Butte Electric on average between 2 and 3 times per month for between 2 and 4 hours per event. NOTE: Application and invoice must be submitted within 6 months of installation to be eligible for rebate.
